AKA was selected by the Sydney Olympic committee to provide stadiums at many of the locations for the Sydney Olympic Games 2000. Due to the size of the project, planning commenced in 1997, involving extensive consultation with main stadium construction company. AKA Events Hire was able to ensure the necessary components were transported from Perth and all installations were completed on time by our team.
International Basketball Tournaments, Broome
AKA Events Hire designed and constructed a temporary basketball outside venue on the beautiful Cable Beach front. Logistically the components had to be packed and transported from Perth and returned on completion of the tournaments. The venue had to withstand extreme weather events over a number of years.
